Happy New Year!! 2022

First I want to say Thank you Dear Lord!! We have entered a new era in our lives, we are able to start with a new slate. Let's forget all the past hurts, disappointments, bad habits and wrong directions.

There are three things in Happy New Year that I want to stress:

  1. Happy-"feeling or showing pleasure or contentment"

  2. New- "not existing before, made, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time".

  3. Year- "The period of 365 days (or 366 days in leap years ) starting from the first of January, used for reckoning time in ordinary affairs".

All the above sources from internet.

You see this is something that we have some control over, our emotions and intents.. This could read, " Mad new year", but who wants that? I'd rather fill the year with happiness, joy, good wishes, great expectations and cheer. The more you give the more you receive. That is on every level.

Another thing this gives is the opportunity to be creative. We are all creative even if not a Picasso. The beginning allows us to take a look at what we want to see in our lives and ask for guidance and permit ourselves the journey to better. Better can be health, thoughts, gains or just attitude. This is the year that you have as a blank slate, last year is the past.

Lastly, the caption shows us that this is time related also, you have approximately 365 days. So how many things will you fill those days with? Don't feel them with worry of things that you can not control or obsessively eating to soothe hurts or disappointments that you can not control.

Instead try new things, languages, learning, sharing, valuing or anything that brings you back to the first word, "Happy".

Join us on exploring this concept more directly in the near future. I am thankful to share with you my thoughts and feelings. Tune in for more information.

Stay well,

HHC
