The startup is starting back up!

The distinguished and renown addictions specialist, Dr. Charles H. Pierce will be spearheading some of the content for our addiction and mental health blogs. Dr. Pierce has been practicing medicine for over 4+ decades. He has worked in internal medicine, family medicine, Urgent Care to say the least.

“Perhaps you are wondering why I added Charles to our Group.

Well, Charles H Pierce MD, PhD (who I have chosen) Has been in this field for over 10 years as a DATA 2000 waived MAT provider and just recently had his ‘certification’ (BP number) as a MAT provider extended for another 3 years. You will see this on our Prescriptions.  In addition to this he has given numerous talks on addiction starting with the “honorary Alumni “ lecture at his 50th year class reunion in Canada in 2010 (in addition to Psychiatry grand rounds that same week). His last publication (among some 30) was on PMS as he found many ladies become ‘addicted’ to “Pain Killers’ due to their PMS.   Let us know if this includes you.

Future blogs will acquaint you with the ‘addiction’ process FROM Charles’ teaching.  Enjoy and learn”

It has been a while since the pandemic, since that time I have been getting ready to truly care for you with expertise and honor. I have obtained board certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner known as PMHNP-BC. I have also obtained my doctorate in nursing, DNP. To add to this I have been working in an addictions clinic caring for dual diagnosed clients both addictions and mental health. But guess what, it has been awesome!. The challenge is there, people are hurting, no one wants a life of addiction, but we are here to help. There are thousands of people dying from addiction and overdose and we can help prevent some of this. The procrastination is over, We are waking up, I smell the coffee.
